Oh my God!!
How much can one family bare? Bear? Handle? Put up with?
A lot apparently as we have found out over the last few months.
First off - Jackson went to his first festival and what a festival it was. Soundwave was awesome! Blink 182, Linkin Park and Metallica were fantastic and I was stoked to finally see metal lickka up close and personal. No more having to listen to Steve brag about being the only one to see them - now there are three of us. And I didn't throw up! YAY!
I no longer work at Secret Harbour Pharmacy - it was an end of an era really. I invested a lot of blood, sweat and tears in that place and thoroughly enjoyed myself but as they say - all good things must come to an end. So with that chapter finished I started helping Judy down at Waroona and working at my favourite in-laws truck stop - of all places! After hearing the language used and picking my jaw up off the floor, I really enjoyed working in such a cool place.
So where are we at with our holiday? Well everything is booked except for the car hire. There was a change of plans; we decided to only do one day in Charleston and two days in Washington DC. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the monuments and museums especially the Smithsonian. Staying at a hotel called 'The Georgian Hotel' on Santa Monica Blvd for the end of the trip, when I looked at it Steve's all 'Looks like crap' but I booked it anyway. Let's hope it's not.
Now it's count down time as Shaye keeps tabs on the days left. Finish up at the pharmacy next week so I can spend my last two weeks cleaning my house for Amber and sorting out how much underwear we need to take and if I can get away with wearing pj's on the plane. Really? Really.
